Your Experience

There is no other form of photography that is as intimate as birth photography. You allow me into the most vulnerable space you'll likely ever have. I'll be there to document your love story, your strength, and your precious baby's first moments of life! To say that you need to love your birth photographer is an understatement. It's important that you know who I am and have a general sense of how I work. 

When you choose ADP to document your birth story, you will receive so much more than a person present taking pictures during delivery. One of my favorite parts of being a birth photographer is being there for my clients-in any capacity you need me! My role throughout our journey together will ebb and flow from friendship to photographer to hand holder and ear to listen. We'll start with an in person pre-booking consultation. You can use this time to get a feel for who I am and how I work to make sure I am a good fit for your family and your birth plan. After you reserve your due date and on call time, we'll have a pre-session consult to discuss your birth plan, moments you are most excited about for your birth, and yes- together, we'll answer the question everyone always asks, "Where will you stand during crowning and delivery?!?" Your session fee includes documenting your birth story and on call time that starts two weeks prior to your estimated due date and continues on until you have your delivery. During this time, I am ready at a moments notice day or night! Just in case, for your peace of mind, I have a back up photographer on standby if I am unavailable due to illness or other emergency.
